Is spacetime actually flawed?

Yes. Even though there is no proof that the altered Cartesian / Pythagorean relation-space framework applies to our own universe, it is true that the spacetime construct can be applied within the toy-physics domain where the geometric mechanisms of relativistic behavior are clear. And in that domain, flaws from the vector-space heritage of spacetime are clearly exposed.
